Ben Sims is undoubtedly one of the most significant figures in the techno world. He started out producing devastating techno tracks on labels such as Primate, Primevil, Tresor and Pure Plastic. He has become the owner of four labels: Ingoma and Native passed away, but he keeps Hardgroove (more oriented to tribal sounds) and Theory. Endowed with an irreproachable technique and a fine sense of percussion, his productions (like the most recent ones with A.Paul or Mesuma) are close to black music with African roots and to the darkest funk. His performances unleash collective madness, as he has -in Spain more than anywhere else- a fervent fan club that considers his sessions as authentic sounding covens. On February 14th, he will visit again Razzmatazz's The Loft to destroy its cornerstones with his ravy proposal.
