Artist, DeeJay, musician, Rade Petković, performing and appearing by the name Rade Badjin in the electronic music world, in honor of his great grandfather Milan Badjin who was musician and accordion virtuoso. From the early age, listening to the likes of Metallica, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Professor, Roni Size, Asian Dub Foundation, somehow through that, Rade connected to electronic music and discovered techno. Born in Serbia, Rade moved to Florida, USA, after elementary school, where he got immersed in electronic music, party scene, night life and started attending conferences like WMC in Miami, ADE in Amsterdam and IMS on Ibiza, Spain, making contacts and friends with artists, booking agents and label managers, he’s learning about mixing and making tracks and getting knowledge how music industry works. Using analog drum machines and synthesizers, created by pioneers of synthesis and electronic musical instruments: Roger Linn, Dave Smith, Bob Moog, Rade is creating music in the studio and performing with turntables and vinyl records, presenting his view of techno, that he calls deep, dub, Detroit techno. Slowly progressing and building his musical journey, playing music, promoting and organising events in USA and Europe, Rade is focused on deejay career path.
