The Foro Boario is located within the spacious Piazza Garibaldi, known as "the top of Nice". The square is rectangular in shape, bordered by a tree-lined avenue, overlooked by the S. Spirito hospital, with its main entrance. It is here, in the southern section of this historic square, that the Foro Boario, named after Pio Corsi, stands out, built at the end of the 19th century. It appears as a gigantic wing made entirely of masonry, in which numerous round arches follow one another along its entire length, giving it a serious and marked shape. The complex is covered by a trussed vault, structured on sloping beams and wooden monks. Following the conservative renovation work completed in the spring of 2008, it was completely enclosed with glass, air-conditioned, embellished, and centrally equipped with a Tourist Information Office. The Forum is the symbol of commerce and the folklore and food and wine events that take place there. These include: In May Nice is Barbera Monferrato in Tavola in June
