Dubfire es la mitad de Deep Dish conocido por triunfar con el tiempo en otra liga dominada por el sello de Richie Hawtin. De la pareja de iraníes es el que se decantó por el techno-minimal que triunfaba en Berlín por influencia de sellos como M_Nus. Mucha gente que le había perdido la pista en los últimos años por haber perdido el interés en el progressive house lo recuperan con tracks como Emissions que se incluyó en el recopilatorio Expansion/Contraction. Allí coincidía con tracks de algunos de los miembros más mimados de la familia más popular del firmamento minimal (Plastikman, Gaiser, Troy Pierce o Marc Houle, entre otros). A partir de ese globo sonda, se decide a atacar el mercado con su propio sello SCI+TEC con el que edita remixes de productores como Matthew Dear, Booka Shade y UNKLE. Dubfire se crece y decide remezclar el clásico de Plastikman Spatik. Algunos de sus primeros remixes en esta nueva fase más minimal son para System 7 y UNKLE. En 2014 se anuncia la vuelta a los escenarios y a las cabinas de Deep Dish, un año de mucho trabajo para Dubfire que se ocupa del programa de radio oficial de su plataforma editorial SCI+TEC, entrega un remix para Asia Argento y una apretada agenda que lo lleva por clubs de todo el mundo, sin olvidarnos de la presentación de EXIT, un nuevo single en colaboración con Miss Kittin.

Barraca

Barraca is a pioneer venue featuring underground electronic music sessions in various environments. It was first opened in 1965 and had an incredible boom in the 80s, when it was established as the most important nightclub of the Movida Valenciana, during the famous “Destroy Route" (also known as "Cod's Route" or "Ruta del Bakalao"). It’s located in the town of Les Palmeretes on the coast of Valencia (Sueca, Valencia), a few meters from the beach in this town. While entering one of the last clubs standing from the “Cod's Route” you can almost feel the legend floating in the air. The club is divided into 4 rooms: Circus, the largest room of all, with a capacity of about a thousand people and it’s where guests DJs usually play, La Barraca room a smaller room where you can hear electro-house and progressive music, a third show room with more minimalist environment, finally a fourth room / terrace has a capacity of 600 people and reminds the terraces of important clubs in Ibiza. Today Barraca is still one of the referent clubs for electronic & techno music in Valencia and features some the best line-ups in Spain. Famous DJs that passed through this club are: Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Tania Vulcano, Marco Carola, Ellen Allien and Óscar Mulero. The club reserves the right of admission.
