Lights Down #4 - MIBER & MATEIS E. AQIR

Mateis e. aqir continues monthly events based on funk-disco-afro-boogie-soul music. Armed with his 7" record collection he will start the thursday evening. Our guest – Miber – represents the new generation of balearic DJs, spinning modern records and tunes from the past. His sound is never too obscure, but melodic, constantly grooving and forward-thinking. After spending some time living on Ibiza, Miber is now based in Barcelona where he co-runs the Origins BCN collective. It's a club night mainly dedicated to house and disco where local and international DJs play their tunes with no restrictions. Besides DJing in clubs and beach bars, Miber is also active on the cloud and radio shows with appearances on Balearia (Ibiza Sonica Radio), Balearic Social and Barcelona City FM among others.
