Secret party: TechnoBørn meets Xceed

By Demi Mistry

October 20, 2017

It’s been kept a secret until this post. And you probably won’t know about the next one either…unless you’re invited, of course. Wondering what we’re on about? Scroll down to hear all about what the Xceed guys got up to last Wednesday.

The night started with the transformation of Xceed Barcelona’s HQ. The guys from TechnoBørn, a Barcelona collective, dedicated to organising the purest underground parties, took care of everything. From the assembly of the sound equipment to the hypnotic light effects. Meanwhile, a few of the guys from our team dealt with a more pressing matter: the Mojitos. Guests were encouraged to grab a Mojito (or two) to enjoy, whilst the party was still getting started.

Between setting up our exclusive club and carrying out lighting and sound tests, the first guests were arriving and mojitos were disappearing. A few impromptu beer and ice runs were made and the party was well on it’s way.

Anyway, let’s not get distracted. It was the perfect scene… The guys from TechnoBørn were giving it some on the decks, the Xceed team and guests were enjoying the party along with our amazing and talented new photographer, William Leenders (check out his instagram: Shakesbeard_photography), who was capturing moments like these…

Thanks to the intimacy of our “club”, the atmosphere was electric. Also, the light effects that perfectly accompanied the rhythm of the music and the smoke that took the ambience to a whole new level. (It also hid the questionable dancing of some, no names will be mentioned… *Cough* David *Cough*).

Off the dance floor, we met interesting people like this talented guy who came and amongst all the partying created an amazing and completely off the cuff mural on the team’s whiteboard. It really was amazing! Shame it had to be erased for the next morning’s KPI meeting. Soon after, the Mojitos were gone but the party still continued…

Xceed and TechnoBørn proved that good music and an even better atmosphere will always bring people together.
