Barcelona has lived a dream summer. Amazing festivals, nightclubs that have not ceased their efforts to program better than ever and, overall, a night and daytime scene that has established itself as one of the most attractive on the European scene. It’d be normal to think that some pause is coming together with the month of October, at least until Halloween. Well, this is not going to happen. It has been difficult for us to design this list and we had to leave out really big names. These are, in any case, the 10 best electronic music events you can find in the city during October. 10. Kölsch @ INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club
The Danish Kölsch is one of the most important artists of Kompakt Records, at the same time one of the most respected labels in history. The visit of the producer and DJ from Copenhagen to INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club (the club with the best and most impressive sound system of Barcelona) on national holiday’s eve will make this one of the most magical nights of October.

9. Lake People (live) @ Laut
Without a doubt, we speak of one of the best micro-clubs in the whole country. With an impeccable sonority and a unique vibe, Laut stands as the new meeting point for lovers of rarities applicable to the dancefloor. On this occasion, its followers will be able to enjoy the German Lake People‘s live act, focused on a house music basis.

8. Audiofly @ RRR The Last F:U:N: (La Terrrazza)
The mystery in the duo formed by Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton (Italian and English respectively) arrives at the best open-air in Barcelona to close its best season to date. Bucolic melodies and a warm rhythm will set the pace of this last dancing night under the stars of October.

7. Fiberroot and Damon Jee @ This Side UP
Every time This Side UP opens its doors, we have to rub our eyes due to its line-ups. The singular club of the lower area of Paral·lel gets a double point in October with the Valencian Fiberroot, member of the prestigious label Ellum (owned by Maceo Plex), and with Damon Jee, a Frenchman consolidated in the electro and house scene and remixer of important bands like Pardon Moi. If you are looking for different sounds and risky proposals, this is your day!

6. Worakls @ Locked (INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club)
Kevin Rodrigues doesn’t need presentations when he appears under his famous alias Worakls. With his formation at the conservatory since he was three years old, this French composer has managed to transfer soundtrack music to underground clubs and festivals around the world. It’s impossible not to rise up in the air with his music and his eternal smile while he is playing magically his red piano. Every time he visits Barcelona, the town falls in love with him. In October, new opportunity to live the experience with the whole Locked family.

5. Moonlovers – Festival del Mar @ La Daurada Beach Club
Friday, October 12th is a holiday throughout Spain and Barcelona will celebrate in style with 12 hours of uninterrupted music at La Daurada Beach Club. There will be the Moonlovers, the Festival del Mar where, along with a large list of local talents, they act great names like Steve Lawler, Davide Squillace or Fernanda Martins, among others.

4. TBA (Toni Varga, Bastian Bux, Andrés Campo) @ BClub (City Hall)
TBA normally means “to be announced”, but, this time, it translates into the acronyms of three of the greatest DJs of the current local scene. The union of Toni Varga, Bastian Bux and Andrés Campo will make this night at BClub (the reference of Thursdays in Barcelona) one of the most epic nights of October.

3. Ilario Alicante @ SIGHT (Pacha Barcelona)
The reference of Sundays moves in October (and indefinitely) to Fridays. SIGHT brings the Unusual Suspects party on the 26th, in which the Italian Ilario Alicante, one of the old rockers of the European techno scene, will play.

2. Enrico Sangiuliano, Edu Imbernon, Los Suruba @ The Home
Once a month, the doors of The Home open wide to become the home of all techno and groove lovers in Barcelona. This time, the Secret Location will feature the Italian Enrico Sangiuliano, one of the latest talents discovered by Adam Beyer on the Drumcode label, and three of the most acclaimed Spanish DJs: the Valencian Edu Imbernon and the duo Los Suruba, from Madrid. Big party assured!

Halloween night couldn’t have had a better guest. The German Fritz Kalkbrenner will make his debut at the majestic INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club, where his evocative compositions will become a powerful bassline that will blow up all the attendees. Have you never heard Fritz singing live the classic ‘Sky And Sand’? You can’t miss it… In addition, the Official Pre-Party will be in the new edition of the Xceed Rooftop Series! See you all there!
