For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements. The result is an enjoyable rhythm, which communicates with its audience in a very particular way. In a playful approach, he creates an incredible repertoire of feelings that reproduces within the crowd. Mathias’ various sets include the following sound features: funky, freaky, dashing, dub, slamming, enriched by African and South American percussions.
Inspired and motivated by the first House & Techno DJs at Bioxultra in Gera he got his first turntables at the age of 14. One could argue it is necessary to live wherever the sound rises at a particular time. However, Mathias draws on his own strengths. Away from sated urban in- and output, he has always maintained the objectivity for his music.
For 7 years, he has been the resident DJ of the well-known club Muna. He is not only DJing there, but he also supports talented folks within the Freshblood project. Additionally, he is jointly responsible for the Klanglauf events at Kassablanca in Jena, as a DJ and organizer. Together with Marek Hemman, Mathias released 4 EPs on the label Freude am Tanzen and 4 own EPs on Vakant. Amongst others, he also did remixes for Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Dapayk, Anja Schneider, Daniel Stefanik and Trentemöller.
DJing and, later on, the production of electronic music have been his occupation since 1996. With his style of work, Mathias joins those, who refuse to produce and release music excessively. Thus, the necessity to make records that will remain long lasting is one of the guiding motifs of his profession.

Desde su apertura hace 30 años, Rex Club se ha convertido en uno de los principales motores de la escena Parisina. Situado en los famosos Grands Boulevards, justo al lado del homónimo cine, Rex Club es uno de los clubes Parisinos que ha conseguido mantener su esencia durante todos estos años. Ya en los 90, Rex servía de refugio para aquellos amantes de la electrónica que querían huir de la escena comercial. Laurent Garnier y sus noches de Wake Up fue uno de los 'culpables' del éxito de la mítica sala. Rex Club ha tenido bajo su techo a los mejores DJs, desde Carl Cox a Jeff Mills, Kerri Chandler, Lil' Louis, Daft Punk, Justice o todo el movimiento del 'French Touch', liderado por Ed Banger y Pedro Winter. Más recientemente, artistas como Daniel Avery, Oscar Mulero, Derrick May, Paul Ritch, Chez Damier, Anja Schneider y DJ Tennis también han pasado por la cabina de la discoteca. (edited)
La música en Rex se mueve entre los espectros House y Techno de Miércoles a Sábado, con algún evento Drum & Bass de vez en cuando. Ofrece géneros muy variados pero siempre con lo mejorcito del panorama, Rex nunca te decepcionará.
No existe un dress code, sólo hace falta ir dispuesto a que la música te absorba e invada tu cuerpo.
Con Xceed, puedes aprovecharte de muchas promociones e incluso encontrar early birds a un precio de escándalo. Si te perdiste los early birds, aún puedes comprar anticipadas online o incluso reservar una botella con acceso prioritario y poder saltarte la cola en la entrada!
Los early birds suelen estar a 5€. Después el precio puede subir hasta los 12€-20€, dependiendo del evento. Para una mesa VIP con botella, el precio suele rondar los 180€ para 4 personas con refrescos incluidos.
Rex Club abre sus puertas de Miércoles a Sábado de 00h a 7h así que si andas por París durante la recta final de la semana, ponte unas buenas zapatillas para bailar y acércate por el histórico club!
