Two forces. Complimentary ones, converging,and yet, keeping each its own identity. Dashdot–written in one single word, with no space–isBrazilian duo André Guarda and Felipe Flora. Having grown up apart, their paths crossed when they moved to São Paulo. Dashdot was then born with a first appearance at club D-Edge, in 2012. Over the upcoming years, they would combine a third element to their outstanding musical intuition and technique: an unusual presence when performing on stage, brought with them to places such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Mexico or any corner Latin America. As they orchestrate audiences, compliments gain intensity, and the calls of an encore are such that they are often asked to stay: resident DJs of Warung and D-Edge, two of the most respected clubs in Brazil, they were recently pointed by the BPM Festival as one of the best performances of its 2016 edition. Their passionate, polished, and yet accessible music have brought them to performances at Magna Carta (Londres), Weekend Club (Berlin), Tribaltech Festival (Curitiba), Warung Day Festival (Curitiba Tomorrowland (São Paulo) and Tribe (São Paulo). The pillars to those successful stories remain in the soundness of their latest releases on labels such as CUFF, Great Stuff, LouLou Records, Off Recordings, Frequenza Limited or Heinz Music, where "Ambition", produced together with Gabe, was the label's best-selling track. Their first album, "Thirteen Memories", has only reinforced the identity that had already been forged with releases such as the hit "That's Why". Well-rounded artists, André and Felipe establish themselves, year by year, amongst the names that make dance music go round–carrying not only their talents, but that well-known metaphysical presence that makes artists, great artists.
