ElectroSplash 2017 presents the second release of artists! You will not be disappointed since, this year, ElectroSplash emphasizes the presence of international artists such as DJ TENNIS, OCTAVE ONE live, SAN PROPER and SHIFTED. In addition to the top elite artists, it unveils also a national line-up. Among those national artists, we find: BEGUN live, CHELIS, DJ LUSO and ERNIE.
With the first release unveiled a few weeks ago and that new one, it seems obvious that ElectroSplash – which in this edition of 2017 will be held on 21st and 22nd of July in the Marina of Valencia, next to the beach of Malvarrosa – embodies one of the best underground clubbing of the moment. As in the previous editions, techno, house, deep, minimal and disco will be the main music styles deployed in the two stages, the Main Stage and DiscoSplash Stage. This festival is clearly one that has one of the most colorful, faithful and understanding audience. Not everything is said, more surprises are coming!
DJ TENNIS
DJ Tennis who began his career as Italian computer scientist and tour-manager of punk bands has become one of the most respected, loved electronic artists in the world. As if this were not enough, Manfredi Romano founded the label Life and Death in 2010, undoubtedly one of the most influential labels in the last couple of years. The sets of DJ Tennis are literally a show in which you can hear a perfect mix between atmospheric and dark dance. His productions are demanded by the most recognized DJs of the underground scene in Berlin. This man will land on the Main Stage of Electro Splash with a tremendous desire to have fun …
OCTAVE ONE
It is said that Octave One is going to attend to the Electro Splash festival and we couldn’t be more excited. These guys manage the machines to make music like just a few of them does. their techno synthesized vibrates, hypnotizes and makes everyone dancing. And if anyone doesn’t know these two veterans of the best contemporary techno, it is your time to see them shine on a live set. These guys were even rated as the number 7 of the best artist in 2016 by fellow Resident Advisor. Make sure you don’t miss the brothers Lawrence and Lenny on the Main Stage of Electro Splash.
SAN PROPER
All the way From Holland, Electro Splash receives a visit from the charismatic San Proper (Rush Hour / Propers Cult) at the Disco Splash Stage, one of the animals of the best European clubbing. His “solo to vinyl” set will delight us all. Be prepared for an eclectic, passionate and unpredictable session, one in which we only know that everything that we will sound and dance from disc to house, through acid, afro beat. It’s gonna be amazing, shall we bet?
SHIFTED
The Englishman Guy Alexander Brewer aka Shifted is one talented DJ who is always delivering his intense & oppressive sets. With him everything is power, abstraction, depression and density. His performance will be on the Main Stage of Electro Splash as well.
BeGun
“A frustrated pseudo-musician trying to make up for lost time,” so BeGun defined himself not long ago. The first solo productions of this exSuperCola placed him near people like BRUNA, Kresy, Pional or John Talabot and in the wake of other foreign geniuses like Burial, Gold Panda, Joy Orbison, Mount Kimbie or Giraffage. His set which will sound on the Disco Splash Stage – is surely one of the most promising of the Electro splash festival, a must-see.
CHELIS
Chelis is the incarnation of eclecticism, surprise, coherence, technique, fun and dance … Who can give more than this? In his past experiences, he produced dubstep, techno, ambient, hip hop, etc. He is one of the few DJs that can be considered as a resident DJ in Sónar, where he has performed five times, closing one of the editions. He has been chosen four times as best national DJ by Rockdeluxe, was the founder of the record store Robot in Zaragoza, owns labels such as Kontakte or Lo Fin Funk and is currently the soul of the underground festival event Magma. Enjoy his music at the Disco Splash Stage, you won’t regret it!
DJ LUSO
Disco Splash’s big bet for this edition is to be able to enjoy one of the best DJs of disco music, funk, soulful and electronic, DJ LUSO. He has an exquisite technique and an intuition that makes you read the track at the greatest level possible.
ERNIE
If there is a DJ and producer who is a pure representative of Electro Splash, it will be Ernie. Undisputed resident since its first edition in 2003, this Madrid DJ master – influenced by the old-school sound of the best 80s and hip-hop – is one of the most important electronic figure with personality and talent. In his very recognized sets, there’s only room for vinyl and, of course, dub techno, deep house, Detroit house and Chicago’s best disco-funk. The head of the legendary label Minuendo Records will come back to his favorite festival at the Disco Splash Stage, loaded with good electronic vibrations and surroundings.
