New York House legend David Morales will be headlining at Forward Disco’s Summer Closing Party

The internationally praised Grammy Award-winning American house DJ and record producer David Morales will close at Cielo for Forward Disco’s Summer Closing Party on September 23th.

Morales is considered by many to be one of the first superstar DJ’s. He has remixed and produced over 500 releases for artists such as Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Whitney Houston and Jamiroquai. The New York native has over 3 decades of experience within the scene and co-founded Def Mix Productions with fellow house heroes Frankie Knuckles and Judy Weinstein.

The New York-House legend will return to New York to headline at Forward Disco’s Summer Closing Party. Other artists that will also be performing at Forward Disco’s popular summer series are Hector Romero, Sean Cormac & Chili Davis and Rissa Garcia.

It is safe to say that Morales has had a very successful summer while performing over the world in countries such as the UK, Greece, Croatia and Spain. Morales has revealed that for this special occasion, he will bring his legendary Funktion One sound system.
