Meet Federico Gardenghi, living the dream
The enthusiastic DJ from Milan, Italy, first started playing music when he was 5 years old and he asked his parents for his first console. “We always listened to a lot of music in my family, but I was always looking for the songs that I liked, changing the radio stations on my mum’s car and loving some radio Dj sets. After bothering my parents they decided to hire a little console for me, that’s the way it started.”
When asked who has influenced him the most, he replies, “Carl Cox. I love the way he mixes and moves.” It’s no wonder Cox has already expressed his support for Federico, even inviting him to play in Ibiza. A remarkable feat in itself, but especially so for such a young artist.
When asked about his plans for the upcoming years, he replies,”I’m still young and have many many dreams – for sure I hope I will still be playing the music I love…and maybe producing”
