The 5 best parties not to miss when visiting Valencia

If you have ever been to Valencia, you probably realized that the party-scene over there is no joke! We’ve been already talking about the clubs you can’t miss in town, and we do hope you had the chance to visit them all at least once. But what makes Valencia’s Nightlife so unique is not only its great clubs, it’s also the countless collectives and crews organizing a huge variety of parties all year long.

Here we bring you our Top 5 picks:

1. theBasement – Your House Music Dealer

Why you should go: Family vibes, great house music & unique secret locations.

Atmosphere: theBasement is not just your standard night out, it is an experience, a musical journey, a no man’s land where you must let yourself go. The continuous search for exquisite sounds and unique locations is what makes theBasement differ from any other clubbing event. Nonconformist and unusual sites: from castles, to farmhouses, fields and inns: the last-minute mystery is what makes it all so exciting.

Music: House & electronic vibes by top class local, national and international Djs.

Recommendations: Get your bus ride ticket in order to reach the secret location without hussle!

Pricing: theBasement events sell out quickly! Get your ticket here & leave no space for regrets.

2. WOW – No limits. No restriction

Why you should go: You cannot leave Valencia without trying this crew’s vodka guns experience. It’s a must.

Atmosphere: This is the party your mom doesn’t want you to go to. Jagerbombs guns, fluorescent paint, inflatable boats, whipped cream, cakes, weird people in chicken costumes, swimsuits, bikini, trikini, tankini. You got it. What happens in wow stays in wow.

Music: Electronic / indie / house.

Recommendations: Wear your craziest costume and do not be yourself.

Pricing: Usually from 8€ to 15€ based on the location (pool party in September and June, indoor night in LA3 during the rest of the year). Buy your ticket and enter without the queue right here.

Fayer

3. Fayer – Edu Imbernon’s meet up

Why you should go: Fayer is a project hosted and organized by Edu Imbernon, one of the most famous Valencian DJs in the global electronic scene. You must taste its underground vibe and moving location.

Atmosphere: This is surely one of the best electronic events in Valencia & a great opportunity to listen to amazing international guests – Seth Troxler & Solomun to name a few.

Music: Electronic underground sounds mixed with minimal and techno. Expect to see many amazing artists play there just like in past editions: Âme, George Fitzgerald, Jamie Jones, Miss Kittin, Los Suruba, Seth Troxler, Solomun, The Martinez Brothers or even Tiga.

Pricing: Tickets start from 10€ and the price rises up to 20€ as approaching sold out.

4. Hotel82 – Dynamic Techno Festival

Why you should go: Amazing music experience with international DJs paired with youth Valencian talents.

Atmosphere: At the beginning these events were called Hotel Private Parties and as the name says they were private, discreet and different. With time they got so popular that they stopped being private and had to move to bigger venues for bigger thirsty crowds. The concept stayed the same though. Diversity and originality in decoration, big summer terraces as venues and of course… great selected music.

Music: Techno, techno and the best techno in Valencia.

Pricing: Tickets start from 18€ and price usually rises up pretty fast, so hurry up and get them for the next party together with elrow on the 10th of September here.

Valencia 2016 19

5. Erasmus Fraternity – Welcome to the Erasmus Family

Why you should go: This is surely the craziest Erasmus party in town.

Atmosphere: The story goes that it all started in a small Erasmus flat in Valencia. A few friends, some bottles of alcohol and a JBL stereo. Then they went on organizing weekly theme parties and it became huge. Now everybody wants to try those limitless fiestas filled with crazy beer pongs, loads of confetti, stickers, body paint. So it actually really doesn’t matter if you are Erasmus or Spanish. You need to try it.

Music: Shake your ass to the freshest hits, electro and r&b music.

Pricing: Free Guest List before 2am and 10€ tickets with a drink after.
