Xceed-Barcelona-February-10 Events not to Miss

10 events not to miss this February in Barcelona

Barcelona continues to move forward. It’s February already. The first festivals, like Tupper, have been surpassed. Others, like MUTEK, are just around the corner. And the biggest ones, like Primavera Sound or Sónar, got their line-ups already announced. And, meanwhile, the best clubs and discotheques in town continue to make us dance weekend after weekend. Following the line we adopted in our Xceed DJs of the Year 2019, we left aside the rankings and just selected 10 dates, 10 events which, for one reason or another, are of special interest during the month of February in Barcelona. And we ordered them by date of celebration.

Fedele and more @ Moov·ida (Moog)

Fedele is one of the three members of the acclaimed melodic techno trio Agents Of Time. At the moment, the artist from Bari is taking his first steps as a solo producer and DJ. On February 6th, he will present his first release on Turbo Recordings and, in the evening, he will celebrate with a DJ set at the Moov·ida party at Moog.

When: Thursday, February 6th
Where: Moog
Lineup: Fedele, Due Diligence and Lee Jo Life

Joris Voorn and more @ \\\\ Album Tour (INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club)

Xceed-Barcelona-Input-Joris Voorn

Dutchman Joris Voorn is in the middle of his tour presenting his new \\\\ album, or if you prefer, Four. The album remains faithful to the friendly and melodic tech-house personality that has always characterized the DJ from Amsterdam and aims to give an overview of the sounds that have most influenced him throughout his career. With Four under his arm, Joris Voorn arrives at INPUT, one of the reference clubs in Barcelona’s nightlife.

When: Friday, February 7th
Where: INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club
Lineup: Joris Voorn, Dubpaper and Hitch

Digitalism (live) and more @ Razzmatazz 1 (Razzmatazz Clubs)

When the electronic music go down to Razzmatazz’s Sala 1, it’s because something big is happening. The visit of Digitalism in live format is already circled in the agendas of every clubber in Barcelona, especially those more nostalgic. The German duo can boast of having remixed institutions such as Daft Punk or Depeche Mode. Their songs are mixed by people like Soulwax, Justice, Boys Noize or Erol Alkan and, moreover, we have recently found out that their fourth album is on its way. High-flying electronic pop night ahead.

When: Saturday, February 15th
Where: Razzmatazz
Lineup: Digitalism (live), Marc Piñol, Not Waving, Iro Aka, DJohnston and more

Ilario Alicante and more @ Swing (INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club)

Xceed-Barcelona-Input-Swing-Ilario Alicante

When one has come to collaborate with Giorgio Moroder, it must mean something. We are talking about Ilario Alicante, a guy who has just signed in 2019 one of his best summers to date. He has become the confidant of the German Sven Väth, playing a leading role in practically all of Cocoon’s dates in Ibiza, and his underground sound, mostly techno, with a lot of groove and a nod to the classics, has led Ilario Alicante to also become a regular at Amnesia residences such as elrow. Furthermore, INPUT will be able to dance with him for 3 hours on this new Swing date.

When: Saturday, February 15th
Where: INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club
Lineup: Ilario Alicante, Pau Guilera and Sergie

Sébastien Léger and more @ ZOË (CDLC – Carpe Diem)

Xceed-Barcelona-CDLC-ZOE-Sebastien Leger

ZOË is the new Sunday party at CDLC, a club that has long been calling for underground electronica. ZOË bets for a slow, friendly, low bpm electronic music of shamanic personality. Deep and ethnical house become its flag and one of the icons of these genres, Frenchman Sébastien Léger, will be one of the first to wave it.

When: Sunday, February 16th
Where: CDLC – Carpe Diem
Lineup: Sébastien Léger and Viton

John Talabot (all night long) @ Draft (The Garage of The Bass Valley)

Xceed-Barcelona-The Garage of The Bass Valley-Draft-John Talabot

An all night long session by the Catalan master John Talabot is never a bad idea, right? Under that alias (which he borrowed from the high school he went to as a teenager), hides one of the most valued Spanish DJs in the international underground scene. Draft party wanted to flood The Garage of The Bass Valley with tribal sounds, house structures, deep melodies, sweet electronica and sexy vocals in a night designed for real diggers. John Talabot was the ideal person for this. Seven hours ahead (yes, until 7:30 am) with him.

When: Friday, February 21st
Where: The Garage of The Bass Valley
Lineup: John Talabot (all night long)

Danny Daze and more @ SUW (This Side UP)

Xceed-Barcelona-This Side UP-SUW-Danny Daze

Danny Daze started mixing vinyl in 1999, more than 2 decades ago. His personality in the booth, his notorious expression and his clear commitment to techno and electro pearls have turned the American into one of those risky selectors, who never leaves anyone indifferent. He will be the special guest of this date of the SUW label in its home, This Side UP.

When: Friday, February 21st
Where: This Side UP
Lineup: Danny Daze, Lebollet and Diego Montiel b2b Alex Mope

Nicole Moudaber and more @ Sequenz x Sight (Pacha Barcelona)

Xceed-Barcelona-Pacha Barcelona-Sequenz Sight-Nicole Moudaber

Special Carnival night at Pacha Barcelona on Sunday 23rd. Sight, the promoter in charge of electronic music at the club of the two cherries, joins forces with Sequenz, one of the new underground bets in Barcelona that is giving more to talk about, to present Nicole Moudaber. The half-Lebanese, half-Briton is the founder of MOOD Records and one of the great veterans of the big-room sound. She will be joined by The Element and Anna Tur.

When: Sunday, February 23rd
Where: Pacha Barcelona
Lineup: Nicole Moudaber, Anna Tur and The Element

Vrilski (live) (Vril + Voiski) and more @ The Loft (Razzmatazz Clubs)

Xceed-Barcelona-Razzmatazz-Vrilski Vril Voiski

This will be one of the first joint performances by Vril and Voiski and, moreover, in a live format. Vril appeared out of nowhere at the beginning of the last decade and immediately dazzled capos like Marcel Dettmann, releasing his techno productions in houses like Giegling or Forum. Voiski, on the other hand, has distanced himself from the sharpest techno to embrace softer proposals, with an electro aroma and a clear post-trance personality, betting on endless loops that embrace and hypnotize the audience. Their union in The Loft is a must for anyone looking to be on the cutting edge.

When: Friday, February 28th
Where: Razzmatazz Clubs
Lineup: Vrilski (live) (Vril + Voiski) and Latzaro

Adana Twins and more @ NOM (Bikini Barcelona)

Xceed-Barcelona-Bikini Barcelona-NOM-Adana Twins

And we close the month by visiting NOM, the infallible Saturday proposal at Bikini Barcelona, where ethnic house and nomadic electronica set the pace. On this occasion, melodic house and techno will be signed by Adana Twins, a duo based in Hamburg that has just signed hits like “My Computer” with Glowal or “Roar” with Patrice Bäumel.

When: Saturday, February 29th
Where: Bikini Barcelona
Lineup: Adana Twins, Amadori and Gespona
