When she isn’t behind the decks or curating the airwaves for The Koko Show, you’ll likely find Kokoprisci navigating the high-contrast rhythm of Paris. A mainstay of the city’s electronic underground and a familiar face at Rinse, she’s a selector who knows that the best sets and the best days are found at the very foundation of habits, local community, and best-kept secrets.
Whether it’s the precise steam of a Filipino ube latte before a radio broadcast or the deep-listening sanctuary of a hidden courtyard record store, her map of the city is a genuine insight of a local’s energy. For this edition of the All Day, All Night series, Kokoprisci takes us off the beaten tourist path and into her personal Paris orbit. Check for yourself below.
KAPÉ – Filipino Coffee Shop
This Filipino coffee shop is a place I’m particularly fond of, located in the Oberkampf area, right in the heart of Paris, also just a few steps away from the Rinse studio. I particularly love their ube latte, and highly recommend it if you enjoy coffee with a smooth and slightly different twist. It’s actually a little monthly ritual for me before each radio show. With that in hand, I feel ready to jump on the decks.
My tip: go for the coconut milk option. Let me know what you think.

JJ Hings Ice Cream
One of the best ice cream spots in Paris. Maybe even the best, actually. They always offer original and unique flavours. The menu changes regularly, so you never really know what you’ll find when you go. Once you’ve tried it, it’s hard to go back to regular ice cream, it quickly becomes addictive.
📍46 Rue Bichat, 75010 Paris, France

JanTchi
A friend introduced me to this place a few years ago. If you like Asian cuisine — or even if you’re just curious to discover new dishes — I really recommend going to JanTchi. It’s a great place to explore different specialities. Let’s put it this way, you can go there with your eyes closed.
📍 6 Rue Thérèse, 75001 Paris, France

Yoyaku Record Store
Yoyaku is the kind of place where any electronic music lover will instantly feel at home. It’s a real space for listening to records and getting lost in music for hours. You might walk in for a quick browse and end up staying much longer than planned.
There’s also a small café inside in a very nicely designed space. Definitely worth a visit. It’s the 3rd inner courtyard – ring “Chapelle”.

Rinse FM
The Rinse studios are a great place for DJs. I go there regularly to host my radio show, The Koko Show. I really enjoy spending time there. The team is amazing, and you often run into other DJs you admire. It’s a place where we can share our passion for music, connect with other artists from the scene and exchange ideas. Spaces like this are quite precious.

After 8 Books
If you like hidden bookshops, this one is a must. A friend once suggested meeting there, and since then, I’ve thought of it as one of the best curated bookstores in Paris. This independent shop is full of fascinating books on topics like society, gender and culture, with a strong selection of non-fiction. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for niche subjects – I highly recommend it.
📍7 Rue Jarry, 75010 Paris, France

MEP – Maison Européenne de la Photographie
The Maison Européenne de la Photographie is located in the Marais, and it’s a place I really love. The exhibitions are often incredible, and they stay with you long after your visit. The last time I went was for the exhibition by Dutch artist Dana Lixenberg. The photographs were very powerful and visually striking. It was a beautiful body of work overall. Always a pleasure.
📍5/7 Rue de Fourcy, 75004 Paris, France

Seven Young – Skincare Shop
I’m a big fan of Korean skincare, so I wanted to include a beauty recommendation in this list. Taking care of your skin is important, and this shop is a great place for it. The products are excellent, and the staff always give very good advice. If you’re into skincare, this place won’t disappoint.
📍54 R. de Turbigo, 75003 Paris, France

Listener
I discovered this place through a friend who organised a listening session there for her EP. It was such a great idea. I highly recommend experiencing something like this with friends. The space is designed for focused music listening, which makes the experience really special.
📍10 Rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France

Badaboum
I had to include at least one club in this list. Badaboum is a central venue in Paris. It’s both a concert hall and a club, and it’s a place most people in the city know. Recently, the programming has evolved and the variety of nights and genres being explored is, in my opinion, a real blessing. It attracts a wide and diverse crowd while still offering high-quality events. I’ve played there several times and it’s always a pleasure.
