Romare One of the most sought-after DJ’s and producers in the world of dance music, Romare, AKA Archie Fairhurst, joins us for a special DJ set. Romare has a unique sound which blends house with jazz, psychedelia and global rhythms. His releases reflect his broad musical education, whilst his unpredictable DJ sets demonstrate his unique ability to captivate the dance floor with his chameleonic style. His debut album, “Projections”, was released by Ninja Tune to widespread acclaim. Voted ‘Album of the Year’ by DJ magazine. Critical acclaim came from the likes of The Guardian and additional support came from Pitchfork, Dazed, Mixmag and many more. With over 150 shows under his belt in the last two years alone—both with his live band, and as in-demand DJ—Romare has played to audiences across the world, including stops at iconic venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Printworks, The Warehouse Project, KOKO. He joined both Bonobo and Nightmares On Wax on their tours and Festival appearances have included Primavera Sound, All Points East, Parklife, Dimensions and Paredes de Coura. OITO//OITO OITO//OITO joins Dupplo (Pedro Pinto) and Señor Pelota (André Soares) in this mission meant to share music not just via DJ sets but also as a record label releasing their own originals, edits and remixes. It’s the consolidation of almost 20 years of their experience in the electronic music scene in a common goal. Inspired by the genesis of the Acid House movement on the famous Summer of Love of 1988, this is not a revivalism, but a tribute to the DIY spirit of this timeless movement where the scene had no style barriers and the tribes mingled on the dance floor to celebrate love through music. Since the debut, they have been DJ’ing all over with special highlights on the official After Party closing Vodafone Paredes de Coura and the regular appearance at LuxFrágil, the emblematic club in Lisbon, also at other latitudes. Klin Klop Inês Meira, violinist since childhood, music producer and sound designer, operates under the alias of Klin Klop in the world of djing. She is driven by the semantics of her own musical alter ego, Klink meaning Sound and Klop meaning Beat, mashing them under influences that swing from groovy Jazz to mystic Funk, from dancy Micro and Tech-house to a deep Techno with fat basslines, and from tropical afro and etnobeats to eclectic electronic downtempo, gluing them all in a strong blend that floods the dance floors with intense rhythms and character, who will not let anyone indifferent and keep everybody shaking their body assets. Being part of the Discotexas family, which counts with the likes of Xinobi and Moullinex, Klin Klop’s regular presences at some of the most highly regarded clubs like Pérola Negra, Indústria Club, amongst others and festival appearances like Eléctrico, Moga Caparica and Brunch Electronik makes her one of the most demanded Portuguese acts of today.
