Founder and manager of Play Pal Music, Teniente Castillo has been djing for almost thirty years, involved in many musical projects, residencies and venues, sharing the decks with artists like Crazy P, Tim Sweeney, Dj Harvey, Curses, Chicken Lips, Damon Jee or Ashley Beedle among many others. He's performed at some of the finest clubes in Europe, including Renate Club (Berlin), where he hosted an annual showcase, La Dame Noir (Marseille), Control Club (Bucharest), La Terrrazza (Barcelona) and Kater Blau (Berlin) among many others. He has also toured in Guatemala, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile and Mexico, where he's been playing for many years at some of the country's top clubs, and of course also in his hometown Madrid, where he's held residencies and performed regularly at some of the best venues. In 2012, he launched and has been managing ever since, his own imprint, Play Pal Music, where he’s worked with many great artists such as Vox Low, Curses, Damon Jee, Theus Mago, Thomass Jackson, and many more. The label is a faithful reflection of his eclectic vision for music, with its releases consistently featured on Beatport’s and Juno’s main indie dance charts. He has released music on labels such as Ombra Intl, Relish, Roam, Playground and Play Pal Music among others.
