VAULT & Knowledge Imprints proudly welcomes the return of DVS1 to Mødular.
With over 25 years of experience, his sets, powerful and high-energy affairs, honor these roots while evidencing a versatility, sensitivity, and understanding for making people dance that comes only with years of commitment in pushing the boundaries of sound at the most renowned clubbing institutions. Whether he’s spinning a rare house set or racing, straight techno to pitch black rooms, the DVS1 experience is unforgettable.
DVS1's interests don’t stop at just being a DJ or conceptual artist pushing an aesthetic that carries the underground values he grew up on. He has also critically spoken out through interviews and publications sharing his opinions on the challenges and issues facing the electronic music community, notably through his essay about the battle between art and entertainment and the importance of no-camera policies.
On Saturday, 29 March, at Modular, as VAULT & Knowledge Imprints curate an unmissable night of techno. Supporting him on the night will be a selection of quality local underground heavyweights.

For some time now the Cape Town scene has been missing a truly underground electronic music venue which allows the artists who perform there, the freedom to experiment and push the status quo with different sounds and styles and in turn allow the clientele who go there the opportunity to receive a truly unique musical experience every time they walk through the doors. We seek to fill this gap through the establishment of Modular.
Modular has created a space for something different, where clubbers are able to go dance and experience evoking and forward thinking electronic music in a late night club setting.
