After a successful night upon which Ana Pacheco and Sauvage hypnotized the audience with their obscure dance rituals, Química returns to Arroz Estúdios to curate another night. From psychedelia and kraut, to acid, house, electro, while taking hints at Química’s signature selection of maximal, euphoric bangers - the mood will build-up as the night progresses. Having DJ’d since 2010, as half of the Twisted Sisters duo, Bunny O’Williams’ solo performances travel from dreamy rock to krautwave and raw punk, with hand-picked gems of sidereal electronics also featured. Lisbon is her main circuit, having played clubs such as Rive Rouge, Incógnito and Lux, among many others. As the selekta’s journey progresses, Bunny’s ethos remains the same: to break barriers and connect the dots between different cultures and music genres. In love with music, Savant Fair’s role as a DJ is not only to make us dance, but also to show us that specific track we didn’t know we needed. With a short but solid career, taking him to the booths of Lux, Plano B, and Musicbox, while hosting shows at Rádio Quântica and Internet Public Radio, and releasing his music through Extended Records and Paraíso compilations, Savant Fair looks only for the perpetual movement of the hips on the dancefloor while he’s playing. Resident DJ’s João Melgueira and Vitor Domingos will also be featured, gluing the night together as they’re already used to. While Vitor has been exploring the connections between house and trance, focusing on progressive soundscapes that puts dancers on a driving, pumping mood; Melgueira will be serving what he knows best at the closing set: high energy euphoric anthems blended with filthy acid and maximal bangers.
