█ Mord x HEX Off Week Showcase at This Side Up █ ► Lineup: Bas Mooy Ansome (live) VSK PØLI Lorenzo Raganzini ═══════════════════ Since its inception in 2013, Mord Records is synonym of transgressive, industrial Techno. The imprint and HEX Barcelona come together to fill up This Side Up's walls with relentless, heavy sounds during this year's Off Week. ═══════════════════ Bas Mooy Rotterdam home-based DJ and producer Bas Mooy has been active on many fronts of the Techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength 24-7, he gradually found his way into creating a unique dark and strong sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European techno scene. Head honcho of Mord, we are glad to have him at HEX for the first time ever. Ansome (live) Kieran Whitefield, better known for his stage name Ansome, owns a very characteristic industrial sound, influenced by his mentor Perc. A regular at Mord and Perc Trax, Kieran lands at HEX for the first time with his demolishing live set up, which will leave nobody indifferent through his analogue harsh sounds. VSK Born in Rome but Berlin-based, Francesco Visconti is familiar to different shapes of Techno, with a style ranging from a sound that's usually very hard and dark, with industrial influences, to a very different one that's more mental and deep, both still easily recognisable as coming from the same mind: VSK. Having released on HEX's label HEX Recordings with a brutal remix, we are very much looking forward to have Francesco during this Off Week. PØLI Co-founder of HEX, the Italian artist PØLI will offer his unique style, made of a blend of emotional and hard tones, bringing the whole club into an endless journey. Lorenzo Raganzini The other half of HEX, Lorenzo Raganzini will represent the hardest and raviest shade of the HEX sound. Second co-founder of the movement, he proposes a mixture of Techno with Trance, Acid and EBM touches. ═══════════════════ The venue: This Side UP is a two floor, theatre-esque venue that caters the city of Barcelona with some of the finest artists from the industry every weekend. A very intimate space to experience HEX in a much more personal way, reducing the distance between artists and audience to the very minimum.
