Monferrato Classica event on September 9, 2023, will be a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating and refined atmosphere of Monferrato. This extraordinary event will take place at Hotel La Meridiana in Acqui Terme, starting at 7:00 PM.
The evening will commence with a wine tasting of the finest wines from the region, offering enthusiasts a chance to discover the wine excellences of Monferrato. Participants will have the opportunity to savor a selection of exquisite wines from renowned wineries. Expert oenologists will be present to guide guests through the different aromas, flavors, and characteristics of each wine, creating an engaging experience for wine lovers.
To accompany the wine tasting, renowned Chef Domenico Sorrentino, known for his culinary creativity, will create an exclusive aperitivo. Using fresh and high-quality ingredients, the chef will surprise guests with refined and delightful dishes, perfectly paired with the selected wines. The aperitivo will be an explosion of flavors and a triumph of gastronomic creativity, adding further value to the culinary experience of the event.
After the wine tasting and aperitivo, participants will have the privilege of attending a concert by pianist Michele Chinellato. With his virtuosic technique and passion for music, Chinellato will deliver an engaging and passionate performance. His piano performances convey deep emotions and involve the audience in an unforgettable musical experience.
Seats for the Monferrato Classica event will be limited to ensure an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or, upon reservation, will be available at the door on the day of the event. Hotel La Meridiana
Il complesso La Meridiana è situato all’interno del Seminario Vescovile Maggiore di Acqui Terme, immobile prestigioso eretto su progetto di Bernardo Vittone tra il 1755 e il 1772. Costruito nei secoli per favorire l’accoglienza e gli studi dei religiosi, oggi queste mura, dopo una sapiente opera di restauro, si aprono al turismo offrendo un’ospitalità sobria e confortevole in linea con lo spirito del luogo. Varcato l’originale portone ligneo ci si trova di fronte alla Cappella del Seminario Maggiore in stile neo gotico, che domina l’ampio cortile abbracciato dalle arcate dei portici e vegliato dall’alto dalla splendida statua in bronzo del Sacro Cuore. Dal notevole scalone a forbice si accede all’Hotel la Meridiana. I lunghi e meditativi corridoi dei seminaristi, le ampie finestre che si affacciano sui rossi tetti del centro storico, le varie sale conviviali, il chiostro sempre fiorito e illuminato dal sole regalano un’atmosfera rilassante nei luoghi antichi e ricchi di storia spirituale dove il silenzio rigenera il corpo e la mente, mentre il tempo scorre fuori da questi spazi.
