About

Watermat The newest rising underdog in the Dance scene is here! But not a complete newbie though. French DJ/Producer Watermät has been composing tracks for several artists in the past, before releasing his own tracks. In the autumn of 2013 he decided that it was his time to take the stage and share his love for dance music with the world. His first self released EP “Sparks” including the tracks “Sparks” and “Something About U” was released in December 2013. After that, the buzz around Watermät started rolling and Spinnin’ Records took their chance to sign him for his next track “Bullit” on their Deep imprint in February 2014. “Bullit” was released on Spinnin’ in May 2014. The track has already received a huge support from the biggest DJ’s in the scene who include the track in their set. It was a massive hit at the Miami Music Week and it’s the perfect mix between samples/instruments and electronic elements. “Bullit” is topping #1 on the DMC Buzz Chart and Pete Tong chose the track as “Essential New Tune of the Week” in his BBC Radio show. LO'99 Located deep in the underbelly of the Australian dance music fraternity and supported by some of the most influential names on the planet – Blonde, The Magician, Chris Lake, Franky Rizardo, DJ Target, Tommy Trash, AC Slater, Laidback Luke, Taiki Nulight and Oliver Heldens to name a few – LO’99 has started off 2015 on what can only be described as a mammoth surge towards international acclaim. Since the turn of 2014, LO’99 has gone from a virtual unknown to the new name on the lips of tastemakers across the planet. After remixes earlier in the year for Sweat It Out and CRNKN, his debut single release ‘Take Me Back’ on Medium Rare Recordings scaled the hotly contested heights of the Beatport Deep House Top 30, followed by official remixes for Kaskade & John Dahlbak (A Little More) and globally revered electronic band Röyksopp (Sordid Affair – hitting the #1 remix spot on Hype Machine). It is, without doubt, LO’s absolute mastery of the rumbling, prowling, bassline-infused house and garage sounds that have proven the key to his recent success. His ability to pare music down to the bare essentials, then inject his score with immense, deeply beautiful and energetic rhythm and vocal lines, shows both restraint and a willingness to let the music do the talking without relying on over-used drops or emotion-begging effects. It is pure heart of the dance floor; a welcome descent into the darkened halls of clubland. With ‘Take Me Back’ ready to drop across the all-important UK charts and next single ‘My Mind’ already making waves across the international press circuit, it’s no longer a question of “if” but “when” this talented young producer makes the break from national secret to global star. If the pace – and the ensuing reaction – of the last few months is anything to go by, it won’t be much longer Opening set by 1-z
