# QUARTER-PAST-SUNDAY
First Sunday of Every Month
Maroon Rooftop, 226 Long Street
From 3PM
Quarter-Past-Sunday is a monthly reset. A soft landing. A social exhale.
Hosted every first Sunday at Maroon Rooftop, QPS is designed for people who want to close the week with intention and open the month in the highest of spirits.
This is not a party in the traditional sense. It is a house-led Sunday gathering built around conversation, connection and carefully curated sound. A space where strangers become familiar and ideas find momentum.
Whether you are arriving from church, from work, from a breakthrough or a setback, this is your place to recalibrate.
From 3PM to 5PM enjoy the Maroon Cocktail Special. Two hours of signature drinks to ease into the afternoon while the rooftop fills with golden light and grounded rhythm.
Good music. Good people. Good energy.
They say those who have an ear for sound have an ear to listen.
So come through.
Have a drink.
Have a conversation.
You might leave lighter than you arrived.
It is Sunday after all.

Maroon
Maroon is a house-music-led social lounge in the heart of Long Street, Cape Town. Designed around connection, consistency, and shared experience, it is a space where people arrive early, settle in comfortably, and allow the afternoon to unfold naturally into evening.
At Maroon, house music is more than sound. It is our foundation and our value system. It carries openness, equality, rhythm, and shared joy. From classic and soulful to deep, afro, and groove-led house, the music supports atmosphere and conversation, creating warmth and continuity rather than chaos or hype
The experience is built as a journey. Doors open from 3pm on weekends and 4pm on weekdays, with the rooftop activating first. As sunset approaches, energy deepens and flows naturally through the building. There are no abrupt shifts. Just a steady, confident build from daylight grooves to evening movement
With a rooftop, two indoor floors, and wraparound balconies, Maroon offers room to gather, room to dance, and room to belong. Premium here is shared, not separated. There is no VIP hierarchy. Care, quality, and attention are felt equally by everyone in the space
Maroon attracts a cross-generational, culturally aware crowd who value atmosphere over hype and trust over trend. Professionals, creatives, and socially conscious guests choose Maroon because they recognise how it feels. Reliable. Warm. Intentional.
Maroon is not chasing moments.
Maroon is building a home.
