Usmev presented by The Deep Room. Xavi Altés aka Usmev was born in Barcelona and still lives in the great city. He learned to play the piano and guitar at the conservatory during his childhood. With a musical background he started playing as a dj and producing at the age of 16, releasing his first tracks in 2001. Some of his releases ended up on labels as Traum Schallplatten (DE), MBF Ltd (DE), Resopal Schallware (DE), Cymasonic (NO), Bogota Records (NO), Monza Ibiza Records (ES). His current EP, ‘Rondure’, will be released on MBF LTD, the sub-label of Traum Schallplatten. Has played with artists such as Redshape, Anton Pieete, Lee Van Dowsky, Mirko Loko, Fairmont, Luna City Express and Pablo Bolivar; and his releases received the support from artists such as Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Stacey Pullen, Joseph Capriati, Agoria, Marco Carola and Danny Tenaglia, among others.
