About
Kobosil is considered one of the fastest growing techno DJs and producers, having helped pioneer a sound that is at once deep, fast and aggressive.
Born and raised in the working class Berlin neighborhood of Neukölln, his musical aesthetic is shaped not only by his upbringing, but also by the cathartic energy of EBM, noise and industry.
In addition to regularly releasing on Berghain's in-house label, Ostgut Ton, Kobosil also runs his own label R - Label Group, which he uses as a platform to promote releases from up-and-coming Berlin producers at the forefront of a bleak and rambunctious approach to dance music. This combination of darkness and ecstasy is the basis of Kobosil's powerful approach to techno.
