THE LOFT: BEAUTIFUL SWIMMERS + Baldo Beautiful Swimmers, es el dúo formado por Ari Goldman y Andrew Field-Pickering (también conocido como Maxmillion Dunbar) en DC. Field-Pickering co-dirige el sello Future Times, un sello que prospera junto con un número creciente de productores y sellos de la costa este de los EE. UU. Beautiful Swimmers excavan géneros nuevos y antiguos para crear su propio sonido. Sus lanzamientos de vinilo en Future Times y sus remixes envuelven una gran cantidad de influencias y técnicas de producción en canciones que a menudo son sorprendentes, con su sonido profundo y espaciado en constante cambio. Con su LP Son, de 2013, crearon un amplio rincón para su estilo único, tanto en las maletas de DJ como en las colecciones de un creciente grupo de devotos en todo el mundo. RAZZCLUB: KERO KERO BONITO + Amable + Legoteque Kero Kero Bonito es una banda de Londres con un universo pop reflejado en su mixtape Intro Bonito (2014) y el álbum Bonito Generation (2016) Tras una gira por Europa, América y Japón, su canción Flamingo se volvió viral. TOT EP, lanzado en febrero de 2018, se grabó con la colaboración del guitarrista (James Rowland) y fue grabada por Jimmy Robertson (Arctic Monkeys, FuckButtons). Su segundo álbum, Time 'n' Place, es su respuesta a la historia del indie-rock, e incluye contribuciones de amigos como Cecile Believe, z (Crying), Oscar y bo en. Lanzado por Polyvinyl (Deerhoof, Alvvays) en América del Norte y lanzado en otros lugares, Time 'n' Place anuncia una nueva era para KKB. LOLITA: LESS THAN D118CO: JOB SIFRE + DJOHNSTON + LKGT Conocido por su enfoque entusiasta y despreocupado, Job Sifre se ha ganado la reputación de hacer que las fiestas pasen de la música que roza lo serio a lo desafiante. Se ha labrado un culto a nivel mundial gracias a su programa quincenal en Red Light Radio, Antikunst, donde ofrece un discurso distópico a través de los mundos de la new wave, electro, synth-pop sesgado, EBM, electrónica industrial, experimental y slow techno. Sifre hizo su debut en la producción en Interstellar Funk en otoño de 2017 con su impresionante EP Worries. Nada menos que seis tracks con las muchas y variadas influencias de Sifre, pasadas por su propio estilo distintivo. A este le han seguido varios EPs y remixes, a cada cual más pepino, en sellos como Knekelhuis o Artificial Dance. SALA 5: TRILL W/ EL BLOQUE DJS Bloque Dj's son David Camarero (aka Bachata Tunde), Aleix Mateu (aka Oaht), Alicia Álvarez (aka Tita Desustance) y Madjody (aka Yung Alz). Juntos, hace poco menos de un año, arrancan el proyecto El Bloque -programa de YouTube dedicado a analizar y divulgar sobre la nueva ola urbana- y pronto comienzan a pinchar tanto en eventos propios como ajenos. Individualmente, llevan años investigando y dando cobertura a nuevos artistas y corrientes musicales desde diferentes medios (Showbizness, Crypta Magazine, BeatBurguer, Mondosonoro...), un recorrido que consigue verse en sus sesiones, donde despliegan todo el abanico de músicas que les apasionan, influyen, descubren y analizan. Desde el trap más estricto al reggaetón de corte más comercial, el hip hop 90s-00s o la mákina. Todo pasado por el filtro y único objetivo de convertir la pista de baile en una fiesta en un piso de amigxs. POP BAR: ANNA GREENWOOD + Siria Dj Anna Greenwood, curtida como dj en las míticas fiestas Guilty Pleasures de Londres, vuelve a nuestro club para ofrecernos una nueva sesionaca repleta de delicias camp al alcance de tus caderas para que celebres el pop en sus formas y maneras más gloriosas, sorprendentes, frívolas, petardas y divertidas. De Hanson a Wham pasando por Go West, Take That, Hall & Oates o vete tú a saber que otra delicatessen que ronde por la cabeza de una de las Dj/Mcs más carismáticas y sexys que vas a conocer en lustros. You cannot fully understand the musical culture and nightlife of Barcelona without mentioning Razzmatazz. It is one of the most renowned venues within the national and international scene. Founded in 2000, it was the first Spanish dance hall to open every single day of the week with its five different rooms, all under one roof. It is a building that is, in itself, an emblem of the city; a relic of Barcelona’s industrial landscape from the 90s, which combines perfectly with the underground feel to the club. The main room, the Razzclub, forms the backbone around which its younger sisters function: Lolita, PopBar, Rexroom and The Loft, the favorite of electronic lovers. All records, styles and disciplines have a place within the four walls of Razzmatazz @ Number 122, Calle Almogavers. RazzClub is known for being a benchmark of the European indie scene. The best indie-pop, new wave, nu-rave, electro-rock and the best live acts from artists like Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, David Byrne, Coldplay, Orbital, Pulp, The Strokes , Kanye West, Blur, Belle and Sebastian. - Lolita plays music styles such as House, Future Beats, Electropop, nu-disco, old school electro, Italo, hip hop, trap, dubstep that have come out of the hands of artists such as Justice, Airplane, Juan Maclean, The Magician, Tensnake, Space Dimension Controler, Cyril Hahn and Eton Messy among others. - In PopBar you can find an incredible mix of the best Pop: Northern soul, technopop, electro-rock, twee-pop, 80's, classic Indie, RnB and the most hyped songs of the moment, thanks to great guest Djs and first class residents. - Rexroom works as a kind of experimentation centre where different styles converge: house, italo-disco, acid, gay house and old-school electro. - Finally, The Loft, a favourite amongst followers of the best international electronic; a spacious room where you can find the most avant-garde sounds of Barcelona. Paul Kalkbrenner, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Len Faki, Boys Noize, Ben Sims, Dave Clark, Floating Points, and The Black Madonna guarantee their well-deserved reputation. The dress code is very casual. The wide variety of music tastes, cultures and styles played every night in Razzmatazz attract a very large and very diverse audience. No labels, no prejudice, total freedom and your clothes can say anything you want them to. Despite the club’s immense capacity, the “sold out” sign has been hung outside Razzmatazz on numerous occasions. To ensure entry you can buy your tickets in advance with Xceed. Razzmatazz never sleeps - it’s true! The nightclub opens 3 of its rooms every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of every month. Sundays are for INSERT, an afternoon session for lovers of the most pure techno. During the remaining days of the week, the room is open to host a variety of concerts and live performances that usually last from 8pm until 11pm. The ticket price varies depending on the party, but in average the price for a normal night is around 15€.
