The sense of HEARING is intimately connected to the fifth chakra, Vishudda, known as the intuition chakra. Hearing calls us to the here and now, to the present moment. Active listening is fundamental to developing a deep connection with ourselves and with others. Vishudda, located at the center of the throat, governs communication in all its forms. It is responsible not only for the ability to express oneself verbally but also for the ability to listen and understand others. This chakra is associated with the ether element and manifests in light blue color. Its Bija Mantra is OM HAM. Vishudda plays a crucial role in relationships with the external world, making us aware of our authenticity and opening us to the opinions of others.
