Over 21 hours of music and 18 artists delivering the best of techno and underground. This is Sound Waves 2023!
The Portuguese industry is growing by leaps and bounds, with massive events and the best DJs in their line-ups, and Sound Waves 2023 is undoubtedly one of them. The 18th anniversary of this constantly evolving festival will begin at 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, and end on Sunday, July 9th, at 2:00 p.m in Esmoriz. Over 20 hours of music for the most dedicated ravers who will dance to the music of some of the biggest names of the techno and hard-techno scenes.
The programming of this year’s edition is the perfect balance between local and international, including DJs such as Øtta, Bernard, Tiger Lewis and DU/ART in charge of the Portuguese touch. But the “sound wavers” will also bring the top from neighbour countries with Spanish queens Indira Paganotto and Fatima Hajji, the English Charlie Sparks with his strong and industrial style, Nico Moreno, Lilly Palmer and many more. The masters in charge of the awaited closing will be the Italian duo 999999999.
And as if this musical feast wasn’t not enough, the Sound Waves venue will feature a renovated stage, covered area, diverse dining area, entertainment space, tattoo, piercing and makeup studio, as well as a premium merchandising space where festival attendees can purchase the festival’s collection.
A new chapter of Sound Waves is about to be written, positioning it as one of the most promising techno events in Europe, known for the authentic raver atmosphere that has marked its DNA during the last 18 years!
