Space closed its doors for the last time this Monday morning and it was a fascinating and enchanting way to give us one last breath of abandon with a vibrant 20 hours-long tribute. No doubt our Space will remain as one of the most iconic clubs of all time and could not seal its magic without what can surely be referred to as some of the most emotional hours of modern clubbing history.
Many came for this last dance: Tale Of Us, Carl Craig, Erick Morillo, Anja Schneider, Josh Wink, Christian Smith, Maceo Plex, Solomun and Kölsch among others, who played, one after each other, sharing with us a mystical feeling, almost as intense as all the magical nights that happened in Space during those 27 years of music, of dance, of freedom.
ps: 27 years. Like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain. Coincidence?
