The Italian native DJ Joseph Capriati, deservedly one of the principal artists in the techno scene, revealed that his career has been inspired by the legendary Carl Cox. Indeed, during an interview at Ibiza Voice, Capriati stated ‘I learn from Carl everyday. He teaches me many sides of the DJ life in general which I never experienced before.’
DJ Capriati affirmed that he met Cox only five years ago at Space Ibiza and they have become friends since then, supporting each other and playing together in many events. Capriati just played alongside Carl Cox in one of his nights ‘Pure Carl Cox’ at Privilege Ibiza. ‘Since I met him, I feel more calm, balanced, relaxed and I know why I am here. Making people dance is a mission for me‘ said Capriati.
After revealing the huge impact that Carl Cox had on both his career and personal life, he described Cox as the greatest personality he has ever met, stating,
As a DJ, he is the best in the whole world. Nobody could ever manage again to do what he did or does right now. He is a meeting point for all generations, producers and DJs as well as a meeting point for all scenes.
Carl Cox is coming back to Ibiza for his second date of ‘Pure Carl Cox‘ on the 18th of July at Privilege Ibiza.
While Capriati on the same date, 18th of July, will perform in Croatia at the Sound Music Festival.
