From October 28th to 31st, BIME Bilbao Festival returns this 2025 for its 13th edition as the essential meeting point where music and culture converge. Launched in Bilbao in 2013, BIME has become that crucial international forum, further cemented by its expansion to Bogotá, Colombia, since 2022, where it now holds an annual edition to strengthen the artistic bridge between Europe and Latin America.
After its recent collaboration with the San Sebastián Film Festival—where BIME curated a series of live showcases exploring the link between sound and cinema—this year’s edition doubles down on its mission to connect creative worlds across these two continents.
One of the most anticipated moments will see Fito Cabrales take the stage for an open conversation with the public on October 29th at Euskalduna Bilbao. Just days after releasing his new album “El monte de los aullidos” (scheduled for October 24, 2025), the iconic Bilbaíno will reflect on his artistic journey and his enduring bond with the city that shaped him.
Alongside Fito’s talk, the event will host global figures like Anele Oyekwere (Marvel Studios), Rubén Blades, Mon Laferte, Mau y Ricky, and Kareen Saurí (Rosalía, Dua Lipa), confirming BIME’s place as one of the world’s leading forums for cultural exchange. In a moment when music transcends borders more than ever, Bilbao once again becomes the place where the industry comes to avidly listen and reconnect.
