Castello Normanno Svevo di Sannicandro
The Norman-Swabian Castle is a fortification located in the medieval area of Sannicandro di Bari, among characteristic houses with external staircases. It was surrounded by an ancient moat dating back to the Swabian era, which was filled and transformed into a road only in 1836. Today, we can admire it in its composition in two distinct yet closely related parts: the Norman and the Swabian sections. Today, it serves as a venue for cultural events and art exhibitions.
