THE LOFT: LUCY + LATZARO
The Italian living in Berlin, Luca Mortellaro, Lucy, has been spinning it since 2009 in the global techno scene from his own label Stroboscopic Artefacts, building a cracking discography that has opened the doors to temples like Berghain and Corsica Studios, and many other clubs from around the globe in the US, Australia or Japan. He’s also been at some of the most prestigious festivals in the world like Sónar, ADE, Time Warp and Club2Club. During 2014 he will publish his second studio album after his acclaimed 2011 debut Wordplay for Working Bees. He’s collaborated with Speedy J and published in CLR, Chris Liebing’s label and in Mote-Evolver the label owned by Luke Slater. This guy’s got the game!
RAZZCLUB: YELLE CLUB PARTY + AMABLE & GATO
LOLITA: AEROPLANE + DJ LUI
The italo disco is no longer a gaudy 80’s dance music, it has now evolved into the top music for the club scene. The Belgian Vito De Luca (Aeroplane) is one of the main suspects of making this evolution, taking that whole melodic part of the mixes from that decade and bringing them to our day, while mixing it elegantly with some pop streams to make him one of the most beloved artists of the moment. He’s guilty as charged thanks to his amazing mixes for Breakbot, Chromeo, Friendly Fires or Doves and his flawless own productions for Eskimo or Permanent Vacation. They started out as a duo but only Vito has remaining on board. After publishing his album We Can’t Fly (with echoes of Giorgio Moroder making it his most glam record), his long list of remixes (the last for Erika Spring and The Human League) and his cd-mix In Flight Entertainment, Vito has demonstrated in every cabin he’s been, that he doesn’t need a copilot to make you dance like a tail rotor. He recently created Aeropop his own label, and his first reference material has been created by himself with the collaboration Jamie Principle on the vocals and joining forces with Dimitri From Paris for the second and most recent one under Urocrtas. A label in which he’s been doing parties around the world inviting friends such as Rory Phillips, Classixx, Optimo, Dimitri From Paris or Attari, to name a few.
