Music should always be expressed from the heart and it should come from a rich heritage, built upon experience and an insatiable appetite to evolve with its different blends. This is true in the case of American DJ and producer Randall M, who has dedicated most of his life to the art, be it classical via piano and violin, to Jazz and Hip Hop, it is fair to say music has been his back bone since the very beginning. As a DJ, Randall cut his teeth first in the world of Hip Hop, having firmly established himself within the scene nationally, before taking a directional change into the world of Techno after being introduced to the sound by a close friend. One could say here ‘and then the rest is history…‘ but that wouldn’t be very appropriate, this was just a natural step and continuation in Randall’s musical evolution, the next chapter in his long affair with the art. The sound you would expect from Randall is nothing short of a rich culmination of groove and soul, intertwined with the analog rhythms from House and Techno, be it classic be it modern, known or unknown, to Randall it is only about the perfect blend and simple detail…capturing that moment. You can hear this in his own productions and remixes, a theme he will continue and build up with the arrival of his own imprint, Thirteen. Now a resident of Berlin, having established himself over four summers on the Isle of Ibiza, which included a residency at Sankeys and regular appearances for ENTER and tINI & The Gang. With a firm presence on the International scene, it is clear that he has now found his place within the Techno genre, setting the tone for the next chapter of his long journey with music.
