Monferrato Classica event on September 10, 2023, in Acqui Terme, at Hotel La Meridiana, promises to offer an evening of extraordinary beauty and refinement, dedicated to the convergence of wine, gastronomy, and music. The event will start at 7:00 PM.
The wine tasting of the finest wines from Monferrato will be one of the highlights of the evening. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to discover and appreciate a selection of high-quality wines from renowned wineries in the region. Expert sommeliers will be present to guide participants on a sensory journey through the unique aromas and flavors of these exquisite wines.
Following the wine tasting, renowned Chef Mattia Astengo will create an exceptional aperitivo. Using fresh and premium ingredients, the chef will surprise guests with refined and creative dishes, perfectly paired with the wines being tasted. The aperitivo will be an unforgettable culinary experience, where flavors and presentations of the dishes will come together in perfect harmony.
The participants will have the privilege of attending a concert by the talented clarinetist Gaia Gaibazzi and pianist Clarissa Carafa, for an extraordinary chamber music concert. Gaia and Clarissa will deliver a passionate and engaging performance, conveying deep emotions through their interpretation of a dream program. It will be a concert that will captivate the audience and create a magical and evocative atmosphere.
Seats for the Monferrato Classica event will be limited, ensuring an intimate atmosphere and an exclusive experience. Hotel La Meridiana
Il complesso La Meridiana è situato all’interno del Seminario Vescovile Maggiore di Acqui Terme, immobile prestigioso eretto su progetto di Bernardo Vittone tra il 1755 e il 1772. Costruito nei secoli per favorire l’accoglienza e gli studi dei religiosi, oggi queste mura, dopo una sapiente opera di restauro, si aprono al turismo offrendo un’ospitalità sobria e confortevole in linea con lo spirito del luogo. Varcato l’originale portone ligneo ci si trova di fronte alla Cappella del Seminario Maggiore in stile neo gotico, che domina l’ampio cortile abbracciato dalle arcate dei portici e vegliato dall’alto dalla splendida statua in bronzo del Sacro Cuore. Dal notevole scalone a forbice si accede all’Hotel la Meridiana. I lunghi e meditativi corridoi dei seminaristi, le ampie finestre che si affacciano sui rossi tetti del centro storico, le varie sale conviviali, il chiostro sempre fiorito e illuminato dal sole regalano un’atmosfera rilassante nei luoghi antichi e ricchi di storia spirituale dove il silenzio rigenera il corpo e la mente, mentre il tempo scorre fuori da questi spazi.
