Egg London is one of the new entries of Xceed’s family. The club is a true reference in town and it’s one of the few to have the licence to organize events which can last longer than normal. For New Year’s Eve, they are offering one of the best techno nights of the country. On the decks, you’ll find Charlotte de Witte, the Belgian producer who’s rocking stages all around the world, Luigi Madonna, who has now reached four EPs on Drumcode, Regal, one of the youngest Spanish artists who played in Berghain, and Tobi Neumann, part of the Cocoon family.

Cosmo NYE @ Cosmo Festival
It’s already a few years that Cosmo Festival is delivering some of the most interesting nights to celebrate the last day of the year. This year though they have really gone big. The names you’ll be able to see going to Cosmo are some of the best names of the techno scene: Apparat, the Berlin based artist who melts everybody’s heart, Amelie Lens, the Belgian dj and producer who would fill up even an empty desert, Joseph Capriati, one of the biggest Italian prides, Ilario Alicante, one of the biggest names in the Drumcode and Cocoon families, Marco Faraone, another Italian pride of the Music On group, Pan-Pot, the Second State label owners and super techno duo, Sam Paganini, again from the Drumcode family. Barcelona is of the first cities you think about if you are thinking about partying. It has been hosting for many years enormous and very important events such as Sonar and Primavera Sound. Very often where there is fun, there is tINI. One of the most acclaimed female artists in the techno scene, for sure who chooses to party with her, chooses a really good party. Her super long sets at Sunwaves have been chatted a lot, and her tINI and the gang is a real community. For New Year’s Eve she will be partying at City Hall, the historical club in the centre of Barcelona, alongside Alexandra and ISAbella.

One of the nights that Barcelona offers is right in the city centre. R33 will host a whole night of electronic music in a very underground and intimate location. The atmosphere will be right on spot with Carl Craig, one of the Detroit techno producers and masters; Monty Luke, who explored the space beyond electronic dance music, finding his own distinct style; Mr. Bosco, Spanish dj and producer also part of Maroto & Bosco, who debuted of Cristian Varela’s label. After having relaxed the last day of the year, to start the new one in the best of ways the choice is UNO Music Fest. It’s line up is one for the books. 2ManyDJs, the Belgian duo which makes everybody dance with its classics and groovy pop tracks. Cristian Varela, one of Spain’s pioneering techno producers, incredibly talented artist who released on Carl Cox’s Intec. Dubfire, owner and founder of the techno label Sci-Tec, his music is always one step forward, in constant evolution. Fatima Hajji, Spanish artist who stepped the stages of Awakenings, Decibel, Monegros, Tomorrowland, just to name a few. It’s surely a great event to start the year in the right mood!

Tenerife

The countdown in Bologna will be done at the sound of techno. Amelie Lens, the Belgian phenomenon who has recently come out with her own label Lenske, on which she has released her latest EP Basiel; Ilario Alicante, the Italian young dj who’s part of both Drumcode and Cocoon Family; Enrico Sangiuliano, another Italian dj and producer part of Drumcode’s family. The new names which have been added to the line-up are Mattia Trani who will play live, and the groovy Margaret Dygas, Francesco Del Garda, Bihn and Domenico Rosa. The two different kinds of music will let everyone enjoy their celebrations. From 22 until the morning of the new year, Bologna will be on fire!

The Awakenings celebrations for New Year’s Eve this year are crazy. Four days of pure madness with some of the best names you can find in the musical scene. Gashouder will be hosting the events starting from the 29th of December with Dj Rush, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte, Sam Paganini and Vntm Live. The 30th of Decemeber the party will continue with Joseph Capriati, Dixon, Tale Of Us, Âme and Trikk. The New Year’s Eve celebrations will see Maceo Plex, Helena Hauff, Pan-Pot, Joris Voorn and Ici Sans Merci on the decks. Fuse is one of the biggest organizations in Brussels, Amelie Lens came out of here, and the biggest djs of the environment are always happy to play in this club. During New Year’s Eve they are offering a double room party. In the Room 01 we will find the British techno dj Dave Clarke, who’s sets are an explosion of sound and energy, Henning Baer, founder of Grounded Theory who appeared regularly in the famous and acclaimed Berghain, A. Brehme, the founder of Sonata Forma and resident of the Technoon parties, and Lunar Convoy. In the Room 02 instead we will dance with Molly, resident at Paris’ legendary Rex Club who also appeared on Boiler Room Paris, Latence, producer with over 10 years of experience who released on labels such as Play Label Records and Taub Recording and Pierre.
