Lightning sign with words Spook october on it

Spook unveils a record-breaking October programming

Some of the legends of the Ruta have aged perfectly. The most evident proof can be spotted at Spook, crowned every month as it continues to be at the forefront of the Mediterranean scene with line-ups that have little or nothing to envy from elsewhere in Spain. Valencia‘s clubbing hotspot has already announced its October line-up and, truth be told, we’ve had to look twice to believe it.

With a name like Spook, the month of the spooky season had to live up to it. That’s why the venue has treated its loyal clubbers to a complete, diverse and, above all, carefully curated line-up. To each Saturday of this busy month, there are three Bank Holidays that allow Spook to give free rein to its booking capacity.

On Saturday 7 October, the bat kicks off with in-house artists such as Seon, Everynation and Lucia Gea. The ideal warm-up before Sunday, the eve of the Valencian Community Day. This long weekend will be led by the multidisciplinary Polish DJ VTSS who is causing a stir in DJ booths around the world with her daring style. She will be joined by Mama Snake, one of the female figures who best reads the crowd. Chico Blanco, the Spanish revelation who intertwines electronic and urban music, will also join them.

With no time for a break, Spook has gone all out on Wednesday 11 October, welcoming Richie Hawtin himself to the booth. The visionary master will set Valencia in the spotlight with his minimal authenticity that continues to cross conceptual boundaries after decades. Without slowing down, but rather raising the tempo, the club is committed to a hard techno duo that needs no introduction. Frenchman Shlømo and Portuguese ØTTA know the BPM that drives Spanish crowds crazy and we are certain they will find the key to shake them up again. The half of the month arrives in the blink of an eye with Basswell at the controls on 21 October, joined by acts such as Aloque and Oposition

There’s also room for melody and house flavours at Spook with the renowned Honey Dijon headlining on 28 October. A cross-generic and avant-garde set awaits you at Spook that night before rounding off the month on the 31st. Halloween will be in full swing with the enigmatic SPFDJ and the destruction of the experienced Paula Temple on the decks at Spook.

High female presence, style variety and three additional dates. October will be a 11/10 at Spook, in case you haven’t noticed yet. Here you don’t dance, you fly.
