Recently, it feels like the world is going to shit and it’s basically impossible to escape all the bad news and heart-breaking events going on right now: thousands of victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, more than 15 lives taken by the suicide bombing in Damascus, Kim-Jong threatening to start World War III and more than 900 injured in Barcelona by it’s own police. And the devastation continues with the shooting in Las Vegas.
Stephen Paddock, 64, American, killed 58 people and left more than 500 injured. Reasons for his act and his whereabouts are still unknown. Shots were fired from the 32nd floor of the hotel Mandalay Bay at festival goers enjoying the 3-day Route 91 Harvest Festival. And still Trump’s not getting the whole gun violence issue. Anyway.
Despite the drama of the situation, many artists have spoken of it showing their support. Mariah Carey spoke live on TV saying “I pray for the victims and hope all these can stop as soon as possible”. Don’t we all.
