The 2023 season in Ibiza is set to be one of the most exciting to date, not only because of the high standards it has set in previous years, but also because of the hype that is already beginning to build around its eagerly awaited openings.

With so much to choose from, it can be overwhelming to pick a date to hold on to and count down to your favourite destination. That’s why we want to make your life easier with Ibiza Openings 2023 Guide, which includes the essentials on this Ibiza welcome journey.

Ibiza is the past, present and future of electronic music and, for this reason, the options offered by the island transcend the musical aspect. A great example of this is the annual International Music Summit (IMS), is the most important yearly industry gathering in Europe after the coveted Amsterdam Dance Event.

For three days, and a great way to kick off the openings of the world’s biggest clubs, Ibiza becomes the meeting point for professionals, leaders and artists to offer a multitude of panels, conferences and parties.  Its 2023 edition will take place from 26-28 April again in Ibiza, at the prestigious Destino Hotel, and will include all important topics such as social media, gender equality and health and wellness.

The challenges and issues facing the industry are discussed at IMS. Find out all the ins and outs of our industry in April!

The team has already announced that their opening will be held on May 1st, staying active until the leaves fall off the trees (from the bass) with closing on October 9th. Tickets for both days are priced at €74, while tickets for the rest of the weeks are still priced at €54.

HÏ Ibiza & Ushuaia

photo: Hï Ibiza

Date: Saturday, 29th of April

Line up: Adam Beyer, Amémé, Anfisa Letyago, Black Coffee, Chloé Caillet, Chris Stussy, Damian Lazarus, Honey Dijon, Indira Paganotto, Loco Dice, Melon Bomb, Mochakk, Paco Osuna, Patrick Mason, The Martinez Brothers, Eric Prydz, Kevin de Vries, Maceo Plex, Massano, Paul Kalkbrenner, Syreeta.

The crown jewel could not be missing in this round of openings. Hï and Ushuaïa Ibiza, ranked first and sixth best clubs in the world respectively, by DJ Mag, have already given the green light to the first line-ups of their season with April 29th marked on the calendar.

‘The Signal’ is the name given to this combined welcome to the island, which is undoubtedly one of the most, if not the most, in demand on the whole of Ibiza. The extended schedule of the event, which lasts from 12:00 to 00:00 at Ushuaïa and from 12:00 to 23:00 at Hï, is inevitably one of the most attractive factors of this opening.

‘The Signal’ season will undoubtedly be one of the most busy in Ibiza given the huge quality and quantity of its headliners and residents: HOLO by Eric Prydz on Mondays with Adam Beyer and Patrick Topping, Tuesday with The Martinez Brothers, Wednesday with Fisher (starting 7th June), Thursday of Afterlife, Friday to the beat of Future Rave with Guetta and Morten, the surprise of Black Coffee as the headliner on Saturdays and Glitterbox on Sundays (starting 7th May until 1st October). Anyone who can beat that?

Tickets have been on sale for some time now for €80 individually and €140 as a package.

Ibiza Rocks

Ibiza Rocks has been playing a key role on the island as a resort hotel, but this season they will be taking their brand to another level by putting themselves on  par with some of the most popular clubs in the area.

The resort, known for its large swimming pool, has announced a new state-of-the-art stage, an upgraded sound system, an additional cocktail bar and a SECOND pool to soak up the Ibizan sun.

But if that wasn’t enough, over the weekends of May 12-14 and 19-21, Ibiza Rocks will present one of the brightest mainstream line-ups on the island.
