Every last Wednesday of August thousands congregate to the small town of Buñol, Spain to participate in a massive food fight in celebration of absolutely nothing. La Tomatina is special in that it’s one of those rare holidays that has no religious significance — it’s throwing shit for the sake of throwing shit.
