Coffee increases Marijuana effects according to a study

Would a drag coupled with a sip of a latte be the perfect symbiosis? A study done on monkeys tends to show the effects between caffeine and cannabis, and its pleasures multiplied tenfold. The monkeys were also given quantities of MSX-3, a substance similar to caffeine. The researchers found that, with caffeine, primates used the THC delivery lever much less, but felt the same effects as if they had smoked a lot.

In short, caffeine would enhance the effects of weed. The two completely opposite substances could marry wonderfully, but its final effect is counterproductive. Indeed, while caffeine acts on our neurotransmitters to boost us, THC tries to slow down our neuronal activity, so the brain oscillates between a shot of energy or relaxation.

Some people have also marketed cannabis coffee capsules. The store’s sales manager compares them “to a mixture of vodka and Red Bull, it gives energy while keeping the relaxing effect of cannabis”, and claims that the capsules would represent 60% of the sales of the shop.
