A 5-hour-and-a-half odyssey, Floating Points‘ set at Boiler Room New York took us back to the golden days of clubbing—sweaty, packed, and irresistibly groovy. The room wasn’t just metaphorically boiling thanks to his scorching track selections; it genuinely looked like a sauna in there. In a hilarious twist, Floating Points even resorted to using his vinyl as a fan to cool down. From uncovering hidden disco gems to weaving in his own futuristic productions, this hybrid set was a masterclass in eclecticism.

ECDYSIS: 5 Years of Amniote Editions with Lydo and Mama Snake at The Lot Radio

Celebrating five years of Amniote Editions, Lydo and Mama Snake delivered an unforgettable back-to-back set at The Lot Radio. This session encapsulates their unique sound, oscillating between hypnotic rhythms and serpentine melodies that slither through techno’s darker territories. With the intimate backdrop of The Lot Radio adding a touch of raw authenticity, the duo showcased their masterful ability to weave tracks that are both cerebral and kinetic—a fitting tribute to the label’s legacy.

Ogazón and Ryan Elliott joined forces –once again– at Dekmantel’s 10th-anniversary celebration to deliver a set that epitomized groove and precision. A true match made in heaven, Ben Sterling and Tiga delivered an unforgettable B2B set at Solid Grooves’ celebrated summer residency. Four Tet at Awakenings ADE 2024

One of the sets that truly defined “FOMO” for us this year. We missed it at ADE, and we regret it every single second. Over a 4-hour marathon, Four Tet showcased his unparalleled understanding of the dancefloor during his Awakenings takeover at the iconic Gashouder. Effortlessly balancing moments of playful spontaneity with technical precision, Kieran kept everyone wondering what could possibly be going on in his head… And we simply love him.

Moby at Sportpaleis d’Anvers

Moby, the electro mastermind, celebrated the 25th anniversary of his cult album ’Play’ with a stunning European tour, including a stop at the iconic Sportpaleis d’Anvers arena. Revisiting the timeless tracks that shaped a generation, he delivered a performance packed with nostalgia, innovation, and the undeniable magic that has kept ’Play’ a landmark in electronic music history.

Disclosure at Primavera Sound 2024

We were lucky enough to witness Disclosure’s return to their live instrumental roots for the first time in eight years at Primavera Sound Barcelona, delivering one of the festival’s most unforgettable performances. Their set was pure musical serotonin, as the crowd smiled, jumped, and danced in unison to their extensive catalog of house music hits. The climax came with a triumphant rendition of ‘Tondo’, featuring a brass ensemble that elevated the moment to epic proportions. The Lawrence brothers’ renewed live show proved they are still masters of crafting dancefloor magic.

Myd at Residencia Ciutat

Equally random and wholesome, Myd stepped into Ciutat’s quirky universe—where the Catalan duo playfully portray themselves as elderly residents—for a DJ set like no other. Performing in a senior residence in Barcelona, Myd, the Ed Banger ambassador, brought joy with his signature juicy house beats, lighting up the room and giving the residents a memorable dance-filled day… And a hilarious ending to the set.
