New global initiative empowers promoters, event organizers and clubs to
discover and book emerging electronic artists through customizable Gig
Contests.
In a move aimed at expanding opportunities for rising electronic music talents, Seedj, a platform dedicated to supporting the next generation of artists, and XCEED, a global nightlife and event technology company, have announced a strategic partnership with the launch of a worldwide Open Call for promoters, event organizers, and clubs.
This initiative invites partners to host custom-designed Gig Contests through Seedj – a contest model that has already led to over 100 bookings across Europe, Latin America, Asia and South Africa. Now, for the first time, the system is being made publicly accessible to the wider global community, offering a new avenue for connecting fresh talents with dancefloors around the world.
Each participating promoter gets access to a dedicated dashboard where they define their own contest structure: from rules and artistic direction to deadlines and selection criteria. Promoters review submissions directly and select the winning artist, who is then booked to perform live at their event. The entire process is flexible, streamlined, and designed to bring fresh energy into forward-thinking lineups.
From small collectives and local crews to renowned international venues, the door is open to participants at all levels of the electronic music ecosystem. The goal is to make artist discovery more inclusive and accessible across the scene.
