Interview with Ogazón: “Promoters are pushing the B2Bs too much”

“Get some comfy shoes because you’re going on a ride”, is the advice Ogazón would’ve given herself five years ago, right before taking over the underground scene with a sound that blends house and techno in a way that’s unmistakably hers. With an authentic, old-school approach, and a deep love for vinyl, the Luxembourgish-Spanish artist has made waves in some of the most respected spaces of the game, including Panorama Bar, Pitch Music & Arts, Bassiani, Dekmantel and more.

We caught up with her just before she kicked off a marathon of gigs at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), where she opened up about the rising trend of B2B sets, how she cultivates her sound through emotion, and how she manages to stay grounded while owning the dancefloor.

Watch the full interview for a deep dive into the journey and the future that lies ahead of Ogazón, one of the most exciting acts in today’s electronic music scene.
