Nov. 8th Jägermusic Spain & Goya Social Club proudly present "French Touch" legend, Alan Brax Alan Braxe’s musical journey began in Paris in the late-90s and he was at the epicenter of the French electronic music scene as it exploded. Alan’s work ran deep through the collection of seminal tracks that made the rest of the world sit up and take notice of the French Touch sound. Braxe’s debut single, ‘Vertigo’ came out on Roulé, Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter’s Label in 1997. He then scored a global smash in 1998 with ‘Music Sounds Better with you’ a track co-written with Bangalter and Benjamin Diamond under the name Stardust. Next up he founded Vulture Music, an uncompromising, stripped back, anti-glam label which put out singles, often with collaborator Fred Falke. One of these, simply titled ‘Intro’ was released in 2000 and became a bona fide house music classic, played by all kinds of DJs, in all kinds of clubs, all over the world. Other hits followed, including 2004’s ‘Rubicon’, ‘Discopolis‘ by Lifelike and Kris Menace and this rich vein was supported by the now legendary, Braxe-run, Social Club nights in Paris where the likes of Tensnake, Jacques Lu Cont, The Magician, Lifelike and Kolombo would play whatever they wanted. An Alan Braxe remix is always a very special thing and over the years he’s supplied goodness to Goldfrapp, Beyonce, Franz Ferdinand, Björk, Kylie Minogue, Justice and many others. A self-confessed music gear geek, Braxe’s instantly recognisable sound cuts across generations and musical tastes, meaning he’s constantly in demand by mainstream and electronic artists. Following a recent hiatus, Alan Braxe is now back. And it’s all about the music. He’s in the studio crafting his own new sounds, plus an exciting collaboration with Dj Falcon.
