After 4 years, effort and dedication, we prepared something big to celebrate our 4th anniversary. Also a prolific remixer, artists such as London Grammar, Dj Shadow, Boys Noize & Hudson Mohawke and Riton have submitted their tracks for a trademark Rockwell rework. With the inception of his label ‘Obsolete Medium’ and plenty of new productions in the bag for the year ahead; the result of a renewed focus and creative freedom – 2022 is looking to be an exciting journey into uncharted territories for one of drum and bass’s most revered producers. Since his first release on Sebastian Weingartshofer's 'Skankandbass' imprint through to his debut EP on Critical, the 23 year old artist has left a dangerous trail of jungle influenced sonics, gaining early support from the likes of Andy C and Randall along the way. Progressing from early releases on more fledgling labels it was in 2017 that Critical first picked up on their emerging talents, releasing music on the Binary and Systems series and solo releases on Critical itself. Culminating in their huge collaborative ‘See It Our Way’ EP released in February this year, Andy & Nick have now taken the decision to combine their skills to form a new allegiance; introducing Fade Black, formally known as Shyun & Cruk. To complete the poster we invited some of the best national artists, a b2b special between Vowel and Jon Tho (previously known as Fragz), a 3 deck set of "octopus" Blast, one of the great upcoming talents of Portugal, Resslek and even a comeback to our cabin on the big YLS.
