RIPPLES returns to the MAAYA Pool this Thursday, with BALEARIC BANANA Balearic Banana is a Berlin DJ duo addicted to digging for the weird, the wonderful, and the “wait, what is this track?” moments. Their YouTube channel and DJ sets are where all these discoveries end up—usually in some kind of unexpected musical rabbit hole. They don’t believe in rules, just vibes. If it fits the moment, it goes: ambient, jazz, fusion, disco, reggae, house, whatever. Their only real guideline is to keep things trippy, sexy, emotional & uplifting. Every set is a little adventure—sometimes dreamy, sometimes cheeky, always a bit unpredictable. In other words: expect the unexpected… and maybe a banana or two.
