II Moro - The Moor is a short film about the true (and hidden) story of Alessandro de’ Medici, the first Duke of Florence in 1530 and the first man of African descent to become a head of state in Renaissance Europe. While unveiling a true story from the past, the film aims both celebrate today's Afro-Europeans and our existence within the countries we call home and to shine a light on the Black European presence in the history of the continent.

Black presence in Europe before the Atlantic Slavery - This workshop uncovers the early presence and influence of Black people in Europe before the 15th century Atlantic slavery, using activist scholarship to connect historical knowledge with contemporary Black European struggles.
