Since the beginning of his career in 1997 Jekey has been collecting awards of many sorts, conquering the turntablism competition DMC Spain for 6 times and achieving the 2nd place in the DMC World final of 2002 and the 3rd in 2005. He was also considered the best Hip Hop DJ in Spain in 2004 by DJ One Magazine and received a Pacha Ibiza DJ Award for Best Urban Music Set in 2005. Recently Jekey’s production prowess was also recognized with his remix of Kriss Kross' classic Jump ranking #1 in DJCity's chart. Judging by all these accomplishments it’s hardly surprising how he became a common sight in a handful of clubs and festivals around the 5 corners of the World.
