ALBERT RODRIGUEZ ( SPAIN, Happy Techno Music) was born in Barcelona in 1987. He got in touch with electronic music for the first time in 2003 when he was 16. His first experience with techno music was unforgettable with Marko Nastic, Umek and Valentino Kanzyani on the decks in the Mystic Nitsa club Apolo in Barcelona. Quickly he wanted to feel what its like to Dj. Since then he has never stopped developing his skills, buy records and getting a unique own style. Step by step he reached a high level of skill and he started to get his first bookings at some famous clubs in Barcelona. One day the club La Cova, not far from Barcelona, invited him with the aim of making the warm up set of the young producer on Lactik Records, Raul Mezcolanza. His set left a good impression on the promoters and they gave him more bookings with other artists of the national and international level such as Marco Bailey, Dejan Milicevic, Rumenige and Loktibrada, Agent Orange, Becka, Javi Lago, Raul Mezcolanza, Nuria Ghia, among others. We can define his style as a mix between several kinds of music, Techno, House, Deep and Experimental. He introduced his own ”salsa” using a set up that allows him to create particular atmospheres and keep control in all the aspects of the mix. Clubs like Florida 135@LaBoite, Row14, LaCova Forest Club, Atlantida, City Hall, Razzmatazz, Moog, TheOne, Boulevard Culture Club, Becool and Antisonar have asked him to play. He’s training his ear to produce music to be able to express his own vision of the music. This dj is a young talent with a lot of potential to develop. Someone on who you can bet for a creative future in electronic music. Recently he and his colleagues have created an events production company called Wildlive with several projects in mind. They first big project is going to be celebrated as an alternative party of Sonar week 2011 in Barcelona. The event is based on making a special showcase in collaboration with a big berliner label called Get Physical that includes internacional djs as: M.A.N.D.Y, Audiofly, Catz and Dogz, Tim Green, Dj T and Smash Tv. This is only the beginning of a new stage of success in the electronic music world, which propose are people enjoying our parties.
